About the gallery

Chris Weaver buys, sells, and takes consignments of historic American regional art from Aledo, Texas. The gallery works by appointment. There is no walk-in schedule.

The focus is Indiana regionalist painting, including artists such as Floyd D. Hopper, and Texas artists, along with related American regional work. Listings are written so a collector can see the price, the size, the condition, and what is known of the provenance without having to ask for the basics.

A purchase starts with an inquiry. Weaver Fine Art confirms availability, a hold, or an invoice by email. Sending a form does not by itself reserve a work.

The gallery does not invent a history for a picture. If a previous owner, a date, or an exhibition is not yet documented, the listing says so.

Trade references are available on request. Write to camelweaver@gmail.com to arrange a visit or to ask about a work.
